  • The ability to structure complex information;
  • Curiosity about founders and emerging markets.

Full-time internship · 4 to 6 months · Wintercircus, Ghent (2 days per week on site)

About Karomia

Karomia is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company on a mission to help organizations tackle their sustainability compliance challenges and make the world a more sustainable place. Our platform empowers businesses to streamline ESG reporting, allowing sustainability managers to focus on driving real sustainable impact. So we start living in balance with our planet asap.

Our headquarters are at Wintercircus in Ghent, the vibrant tech and innovation heart of Belgium and a dynamic hub for the most promising start-ups. Here, you'll join a community of forward-thinkers and change-makers.

At Karomia, we're a team with big ambitions, dedicated to our customers, and eager to make a difference.

Discover more about us on our website: www.karomia.eu.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Success Intern at Karomia, you'll sit right where our customers meet our product. You'll learn how a B2B SaaS company keeps its customers happy and you'll be close enough to the product team to see your input turn into something real.

This is a full-time internship of 4 to 6 months, and it's not a coffee-and-copy one. You'll start with hands-on back-office support so you get to know our customers, our platform and the ESG world we operate in from day one. After those first weeks, we shape the rest of your internship together, based on what you're good at, what you want to learn, and what the business needs at that moment.

What You'll Learn

  • AI: Karomia is an AI-driven company, with regular run-through sessions and demos where you learn the technology.
  • Sustainability: working in the ESG field means getting familiar with the challenges companies face in sustainability compliance and analysis, such as climate risk, materiality and emissions.
  • The dynamics of a business: learning to work with people from different teams and backgrounds (technical, product, sales), and understanding the dynamics and specific challenges of the companies we work with.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver, hands-on: helping keep customer data, accounts and follow-ups in order, and learning our platform inside out.
  • Be close to our customers: joining check-ins, picking up questions, and understanding what they actually need.
  • Work in an AI-first team: we push AI usage to work as efficiently as possible.
  • Translate: turn business and customer challenges into clear input for our product and tech team, and turn product changes back into language customers understand.

Who You Are

  • Student or recent graduate: You graduate by June 2027 at the latest. Graduated in June 2026 and still looking for the right first role? You're very welcome to apply.
  • A generalist: You're curious across the board. You can grasp a business or customer challenge, and you enjoy translating it into language a product or tech team can act on, and back again.
  • Not afraid of product: You don't need to be technical, but you're the kind of person who clicks around a tool until you understand it, and who isn't scared of going into the product side of things.
  • Customer-centric: You like helping people succeed and you build trust easily.
  • Problem-solver: Creative thinker with a solution-oriented mindset who takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Communicator: Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, plus either French or Dutch.
  • Fun: You love a good laugh, embrace challenges, and enjoy learning new things.

What We Offer

  • A real shot at a job offer with us after your internship, if it's a match on both sides.
  • Real ownership from week one: small team, no layers, your work matters.
  • Direct exposure to customers, product and founders in a fast-growing ESG SaaS company.
  • Mentoring and structured feedback throughout your internship.
  • A desk at Wintercircus, Ghent, the tech and innovation heart of Belgium.
  • A collaborative, informal and ambitious team culture.

Practical Info

  • Commitment: Full-time (5 days a week) for the duration of the internship.
  • Duration: 4 to 6 months.
  • Start date: As soon as possible. Flexible. We'll find a period that works for you and your school.
  • Location: Wintercircus, Ghent. Of your 5 days, we expect you with us at the office at least 2; the other days are yours to work wherever you're most productive. Want to come in more, or even every day? We're more than happy.
  • Transport costs to Ghent, covered.
  • Equipment: you bring your own laptop, we cover your Claude subscription.

Account Executive Mid-Market

GTM teamAntwerp, BelgiumFull-timeOwn the full sales cycle, build your own pipeline, and grow into Enterprise as Webclew scales.Apply now

We are hiring an Account Executive who owns the full sales cycle. You'll build your own pipeline, run multi-stakeholder deals, and grow into Enterprise as we scale. You'll report into the CRO and work directly with the founders.

About Webclew

You probably spend a few hours on your phone every day. No judgement. So do we.

Every tap sets off data flows across hundreds of specialized components, like analytics, ad networks, consent banners, and social media pixels. They power customer understanding and marketing. They can also leak user data, break silently, and create compliance exposure.

Webclew shows companies what their web and mobile apps actually do. We surface every data flow and continuously validate behavior against performance and compliance requirements. What used to take developers and privacy experts weeks now gets done for every app release in hours.

Why Webclew

Founded by experienced privacy experts and product builders, Webclew is growing fast and ready to scale. We are building a high-performance commercial team and looking for an ambitious Account Executive Mid-Market who wants to grow with us.

This is a rare chance to join early, own meaningful pipeline, work directly with founders, and grow into an Enterprise Account Executive within 12-18 months.

Your role

We are looking for a true business hunter who will own a full sales cycle across pipeline creation, opportunity management, and closing mid-market opportunities.

You know how to create momentum, run sharp discovery, engage multiple stakeholders, and guide deals forward with structure and confidence.

You are equally comfortable prospecting into new accounts, running commercial conversations, building proposals, and negotiating deals.

You will start with a strong focus on self-generated pipeline and develop into a more strategic closing role within your first six months.

What you do

Build your own pipeline

Create opportunities through outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and account based motions.

Run full sales cycles

Manage opportunities from first meeting through discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.

Sell to multiple stakeholders

Engage technical buyers, marketing leaders, privacy teams, and commercial decision makers.

Lead discovery conversations

Uncover real pain points, buying triggers, current setups, and urgency to build strong business cases.

Deliver compelling demos and proposals

Translate Webclew's technical value into commercial outcomes that matter to each stakeholder.

Drive deal momentum

Own next steps, follow-up rhythm, stakeholder mapping, and internal champion enablement to keep deals moving.

Maintain pipeline discipline

Keep our CRM clean and your pipeline forecasts accurately.

Partner closely with product

Bring objections and feature gaps back to the product team. Stay current on our roadmap developments and update prospects on new use cases.

Work closely with marketing

Shape campaigns, messaging, and account-based initiatives to penetrate new accounts, verticals, and markets with the marketing team.

Attend industry events

Represent Webclew at conferences and industry events.

Who you are

At Webclew, mindset beats pedigree. We are looking for a hunter who's energetic, commercial, and hands-on.

  • You've closed deals for B2B SaaS into mid-market or enterprise accounts with 3+ years of experience.
  • You have a track record of overachieving SDR or AE targets.
  • You cold call, run multi-channel outbound, and source pipeline without waiting to be told.
  • You are equally comfortable with technical and commercial stakeholders and can hold your own product conversations.
  • You ask sharp discovery questions and uncover urgency beyond interest.
  • You handle rejection without flinching and stay creative when deals stall.
  • You enjoy coaching, feedback, and honing your sales craft.
  • You understand that complex deals require persistence and structure.
  • You are fluent in English. French is strongly preferred. Dutch and other European languages are a plus.
  • You're knowledgeable about ad tech, privacy, and app development.

You get

  • A competitive base salary with uncapped commission and double OTE.
  • A clear ramp plan and a mid-market quota grounded in our go-to-market maturity.
  • Direct coaching from an experienced CRO and close access to founders.
  • The freedom to create your own pipeline.
  • The chance to sell a category-defining product in a fast-growing market.
  • Real responsibility and ownership from day one.
  • A clear path toward Enterprise Account Executive as you grow.
  • A hybrid role with an office in Antwerp.
  • A front-row seat to building a high-performing revenue team.

On a final note, we hire for energy, ownership, and learning mindset. If you feel excited by this role, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a senior technical product expert who helps customers get most out of Webclew. This role leads customer success, supports sales through technical demos, and translates customer insights into product feedback.

Who we are

You probably spend a few hours on your phone every day. No judgement. So do we.

Every tap sets off data flows across hundreds of specialized components, like analytics, ad networks, consent banners, and social media pixels. They power customer understanding and marketing. They can also leak user data, break silently, and create compliance exposure.

Webclew shows companies what their web and mobile apps actually do. We surface every data flow, classify every vendor, and continuously validate behavior against performance and compliance requirements. What used to take developers and privacy experts weeks now gets done for every app release in hours.

Why join

Founded by experienced privacy experts and product builders, Webclew is growing fast and ready to scale. This is a rare opportunity to join early and take ownership of customer outcomes at large enterprise.

This function is currently handled by the CEO. You'll work directly with the founders and have a real say in the product roadmap. As we scale, this role can evolve into Technical Customer Success leadership or a Chief Product Officer.

What you do

Support technical sales

Demonstrate Webclew's value to prospects through product demos, technical deep dives, and proof-of-value tracks.

Lead customer onboarding and implementation

Guide customers from kick-off to first value. Define success criteria, configure accounts, and help customers understand the insights Webclew generates across their web and mobile products.

Enrich Webclew's proprietary network traffic classification database by orchestrating agentic data collection flows and auditing database quality.

Translate customer insight into product feedback

Turn customer questions and product feedback into clear signals for the engineering team.

Who you are

At Webclew, mindset beats pedigree. This role is unique and sits between product, engineering and customers. We are looking for someone with strong curiosity, technical intuition and a passion for solving complex problems.

  • You are comfortable in customer-facing situations and enjoy supporting technical conversations with prospects and customers.
  • You can clearly explain complex systems and translate technical concepts into understandable business outcomes during demos, onboarding sessions and product discussions.
  • You understand modern web and mobile tracking ecosystems, including how analytics tools, advertising vendors and third-party SDKs interact with consent signals and privacy requirements.
  • You work in a structured and precise way. You keep environments, audit results and vendor mappings accurate and up to date.
  • You enjoy improving systems and processes and naturally look for ways to make workflows more efficient.
  • You collaborate easily with engineers, product managers and commercial teams.
  • You learn quickly. Coding or database experience is a plus, but curiosity and problem-solving ability matter more.
  • You're fluent in English, French, or Dutch. Other languages are a plus.
  • You get energised by a fast-moving startup and take ownership without waiting to be told.

You get

  • A competitive salary with extensive benefits.
  • The opportunity to build deep subject-matter expertise in data protection, ad tech, and app development.
  • Direct access to the founders and close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • A front-row seat to how a highly technical product is built, delivered and adopted by enterprise customers.
  • The opportunity to shape how Webclew works with customers.
  • A clear growth path as Webclew scales. This role can evolve into Chief Product Officer or Technical Customer Success leadership as we build out these functions.
  • A flexible and hybrid working culture focused on outcomes.

On a final note, we hire for mindset, curiosity, and energy, not years of experience. We welcome talent from all backgrounds and encourage people of all identities and experience levels to apply, even if you're not sure you meet every requirement.

We're hiring a Business Development Representative to open doors at large industrial and energy-intensive companies across Europe.

This is an early-career outbound role where your mission is to turn cold prospects into qualified enterprise meetings: proactive, high-energy work with a direct impact on our pipeline.

TL; DR

We help large enterprises cut energy costs and valorize flexibility by steering their energy use in sync with market prices and renewable generation.

We're hiring a Business Development Representative to generate qualified enterprise meetings across Europe.

This is an early-career outbound role (1 to 3 years' experience) in a small, fast-moving seed-stage team. Your job is to find the right people at large industrial and energy-intensive companies, get them interested, and book the meeting. Closing isn't on you. Opening doors is.

About Companion.energy

Companion.energy connects the financial side of energy management (contracts, markets, risk) with the operational side (assets, processes, sites). We model complex energy contracts and flexible assets, forecast demand and production, and translate predictions into automated, second-by-second decisions that move megawatts and money. Our software is used by large B2B enterprises and energy players to lower OPEX, maximize revenue, increase renewable usage, and manage risk.

Why Companion.energy?

  • Make an impact where it matters: you'll reach some of Europe's largest energy users, the companies whose decisions move real megawatts and real money.
  • Own the top of the funnel: every meeting you book feeds a fast-growing commercial engine. You'll see your impact in the pipeline within weeks.
  • Join early, help shape the future: small team (~20 people), big impact. You'll help define how we prospect, what works, and how we scale across new markets.
  • Learn fast: you'll work closely with experienced commercial leaders and founders, building skills that compound for the rest of your career.
  • A mission that matters: helping companies adapt to a volatile energy landscape isn't just smart business. It accelerates the energy transition.

What you'll do

  • Reach out to large industrial and energy-intensive companies across Benelux (our home market) and our expansion markets (UK, Germany, France, Spain).
  • Run multi-channel outbound: email, phone, LinkedIn, and whatever else gets a reply.
  • Research accounts, find the right decision-makers, and craft a reason for them to talk to us.
  • Book qualified meetings for our commercial team. Your primary KPI is planned meetings.
  • Experiment continuously: test messaging, sequences, and tools, and double down on what works.
  • Feed insights from the front line back to the commercial and product teams.

What we're looking for

  • 1 to 3 years of outbound or sales experience, ideally at a startup or scale-up. This is an early-career role, so we're looking for high-potential talent rather than senior profiles.
  • Drive and initiative: you're proactive, resourceful, and genuinely enjoy starting conversations and building new relationships. This is the most important thing.
  • You speak Dutch fluently, plus strong English. Additional European languages are a plus.
  • A curious, experimental mindset: you'd rather try ten things and learn than wait for the perfect plan.
  • Strong written and verbal communication: you can get a busy executive to care in two sentences.
  • Based in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Bonus points

  • Affinity with energy, industrial, or B2B SaaS domains (helpful, but secondary to your outbound skills).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered prospecting tools and modern outbound stacks (Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar).
  • A track record of hitting or beating meeting and pipeline targets.

Location

Belgium or the Netherlands (hybrid, with travel)

How we hire

An intro call to get to know each other, then a practical exercise or role-play, followed by conversations with the team and founders.

We keep it simple and can move fast.

Business Development Representative

Karomia · ghent, belgium · entry level · full-time

apply on their careers page

Location: Wintercircus, Ghent / Hybrid

About Karomia

Karomia is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company helping organizations turn sustainability compliance into business intelligence. We started by killing the pain of CSRD/ESRS reporting — now we're a full Sustainability Intelligence Platform: ESG reporting, GHG calculators, climate risk analysis, ESG websites, and AI workflows that 10x our customers' sustainability teams.

We just rebranded. Belgian banks (Belfius, ING and friends) are inviting hundreds of customers onto our platform a month. Pipeline is opening up across many markets. Our investor portfolio is fully signed. The next 12 months are about turning that demand into real revenue — and that's where you come in.

Our HQ is the Wintercircus in Ghent — Belgium's tech hub. We hang out there a lot.

More at www.karomia.eu.

The Opportunity

As our Business Development Representative, you're the first human a future Karomia customer talks to. You'll open conversations, qualify needs, and hand warm, well-prepped opportunities to our Account Executives.

This isn't "spam 200 people a day" BDR work. We care about the message. We have a Sustainability Intelligence Platform that genuinely solves a real, expensive, regulated pain. Your job is to find the right people, say the right thing, and make sure they actually want the demo.

If you want to learn modern B2B sales inside an AI-native scale-up, this is the seat.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prospect with intent: build target lists of companies that should care about CSRD, ESRS, GHG, or VSME — and figure out who in those companies actually decides.
  • Outreach that lands: run multi-channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone) with messaging tight enough that prospects reply with "yes, let's talk."
  • Educate, don't pitch: position Karomia as the obvious answer to a problem they already have. Reporting pain → intelligence platform.
  • Use AI like a pro: we expect every BDR at Karomia to be 3x more productive than a 1990 BDR — research, drafting, sequencing, all AI-augmented.
  • Feed the engine: share what you learn back to marketing and product. Your conversations are gold.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 1–3 years in a sales, BDR, or customer-facing role. B2B SaaS or sustainability is a plus, not a must.
  • Communication: sharp written and verbal — you can write a cold email a CFO actually opens.
  • Tech-savvy: comfortable with Claude co-work and code, n8n, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern outbound tools. Bonus if you've already built sequences with AI assistants.
  • Driven & resilient: rejection rolls off you. You measure your week in conversations, meetings booked, and what you learned.
  • Curious: you'll be talking to sustainability managers, CFOs, and CEOs about regulation that changes every quarter. You actually want to understand it.
  • Languages: fluent English and Dutch or French (ideally both). Other languages are serious bonus.
  • Personality: high-energy, low-ego, sense of humor required.

What Success Looks Like

  • A predictable, qualified pipeline landing in your AE's calendar each week.
  • Win-rate from your meetings beats the team average within 6 months.
  • You become the BDR other BDRs ask for advice — on messaging, on AI workflows, on how to crack a stuck account.
  • We stop calling you a BDR and start calling you an AE.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary:
  • Flexibility to work remotely, although we aim to be 3 days/week at the office.
  • Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly growing company. (incl a clear path to AE)
  • Collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • A modern sales stack and an AI-native culture — we don't make you sell with one hand tied behind your back.
  • A team that ships fast, says what they think, and celebrates wins (loudly).

Practical Info

  • Availability: Full-time.
  • Location: Hybrid: Wintercircus, Ghent + remote.
  • Start date: ASAP.

Equal Opportunities

We thrive on diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. If you've got the drive and the brain, we want to hear from you.

How to Apply

Fill out this form and tell us — in a few sentences — about a deal, a meeting, or a conversation you're proud of.

Marketing Manager

GTM teamEuropean timeFull-timeBuild the marketing function from scratch. Then run it.Apply now

We are looking for a senior marketer who will help put Webclew on the map, generate pipeline, and help scale Webclew’s growth engine. This role owns campaigns, content, events, and digital lead generation, while working closely with sales, product, and the founders.

You have strong opinions about what works in marketing and the energy to prove it. You'd rather write the copy, launch the campaign, run the event, or fix the funnel yourself than spend a week aligning on who should. At this stage, taste, direction, and execution are the same job.

Who we are

You probably spend a few hours on your phone every day. No judgement. So do we.

Every tap sets off data flows across hundreds of specialized components. They power product insights, advertising performance, and social media integrations. They also access and share your data. The companies running these apps can't see these data flows either.

That’s why user data gets out of control fast. Ad revenue breaks silently. App releases stall. Hidden tracking creates regulatory exposure.

Webclew shows companies what their web and mobile apps actually do. We surface every data flow and continuously validate it against performance and compliance requirements. What used to take developers and privacy experts weeks now gets done for every release in a matter of hours.

Why join

Founded by experienced privacy experts and product builders, Webclew is growing fast and ready to scale. This is a rare opportunity to join early and build a marketing function from the ground up. You will get a lot of freedom to move quickly (copy, marketing campaigns, events) and set the direction we'll use for years.

You'll own marketing end to end (strategy, execution, and measurement) working directly with the founders. As we scale, this role can evolve into a CMO position.

What you do

Own the marketing plan and calendar

Build and manage a clear quarterly and monthly marketing plan aligned to growth priorities, launches, events, and pipeline targets.

Drive digital lead generation

Run paid and organic campaigns across LinkedIn, email, website, and other relevant channels to generate qualified inbound demand.

Create content that converts

Own newsletters, one-pagers, whitepapers, blogposts, customer stories, and sales enablement assets that educate the market.

Partner with sales

Support outbound campaigns, account-based motions, nurturing flows, and campaign follow-up to help the commercial team hit targets.

Own website messaging and conversion

Improve website copy, landing pages, and digital journeys so visitors clearly understand Webclew’s value and convert into leads.

Organise webinars and events

Plan and execute webinars, roundtables, sponsored events, and industry conference presence.

Translate product into market language

Work closely with product and founders to turn launches, updates, and roadmap progress into strong external messaging quickly.

Measure and optimise performance

Track campaign results, lead quality, funnel conversion, and ROI. Double down on what works and improve what does not.

Who you are

At Webclew, mindset beats pedigree. We are looking for someone who enjoys building rather than inheriting.

  • You've shipped B2B marketing programs that produced real pipeline. You can point to specific campaigns, the numbers they drove, and what you'd do differently next time.
  • You have compelling experience in B2B marketing for SaaS or AI-native products.
  • You know how to combine content, digital, and field marketing into one growth motion.
  • You can take a complex technical topic and turn it into a paragraph anyone wants to finish.
  • You know which metrics signal real demand and which are vanity.
  • You get stuff done. You can launch a paid campaign, brief a designer, and host a webinar in one day.
  • You're comfortable being the only marketeer for now working closely with sales.
  • You enjoy startup life with high highs, low lows, and the fact that every week feels different.
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch and French are a plus.
  • You're curious about privacy, ad tech, or data infrastructure. The category rewards depth.
  • You’re knowledgeable about ad tech, privacy, and app development.
  • You work on European time.

You get

  • A competitive salary with growth upside.
  • The chance to build a marketing function from the ground up and shape the brand.
  • Direct access to founders without layers, committees, and lengthy approvals to ship.
  • A front-row seat to defining a product category and scaling internationally.
  • A clear path to Head of Marketing as the business scales.
  • A remote-friendly culture with flexibility on where and how you work.

On a final note, we hire for energy, ownership, and learning mindset. If you feel excited by this role, we would love to hear from you.

job description

Freelance Marketing & Communications Manager

Key Responsibilities

As our Freelance Marketing & Communications Manager, you own marketing at EDGX from A to Z. You're equally comfortable setting the brand strategy as you are writing a LinkedIn post or manning our booth at a conference. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who wants to build the marketing function of a fast-growing spacetech scale-up. You'll work closely with the CEO and the Sales & Business Development Manager to make sure marketing directly supports EDGX's commercial growth.

1. Marketing campaigns & Lead Generation – 40%

  • Inbound Marketing: You own the website and social networks. Your goal is to turn visitors into leads by optimising the user journey and managing high-value downloads (White Papers, product specifications, etc.).
  • Outbound Marketing: In coordination with the Business Development & Sales team, you execute targeted outbound campaigns.
  • Smart Nurtering: Sales cycles in Space are long. You keep EDGX "top of mind" with prospects and partners through content sequences (newsletters, product updates) and events, demos & workshops.

2. Brand & Strategic Messaging – 30%

  • Messaging (B2B & B2G): You translate our technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging, both for engineers as well as commercial and government stakeholders.
  • Sales materials: You are responsible for the "Sales Kit". You produce the Pitch Decks, One-Pagers, and Case Studies that the Sales team uses every day. You ensure our materials look world-class and credible.
  • Product Marketing: You work with customers and engineering to translate product specifications into clear customer benefits, acting as the bridge between the market and our technical teams.

3. Event & Brand Visibility – 30%

  • Project orchestration: Whether you do it yourself or brief freelancers/interns, you are responsible for the quality, deadline, and delivery of all brand and communication assets.
  • Content Creation: You manage the editorial line and calendar (LinkedIn, Blog). You supervise external contributors to produce regular, high-quality content.
  • Public relations: You act as the primary point of contact for the media. You draft press releases for company milestones (product launches, contracts, partnerships) and identify key journalists (Space, Tech, Defence) to secure coverage and interviews for the leadership team.
  • Conferences & events: You coordinate outreach to secure meetings at trade shows and conferences and define the message and visual experience on-site to ensure we stand out.
  • Budget & Planning: You own the marketing budget, planning and allocating spend in line with business development and corporate goals.

What you're bringing

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing in a technical environment (Deeptech, Embedded Systems, SaaS). Experience with B2G Marketing is a plus.
  • Tech-Compatible: You are comfortable working in a "Super Tech" culture. You aren't afraid to ask engineers questions to get the right information. You excel at simplifying complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for business and government leaders.
  • Relation builder: You have the confidence to pick up the phone or walk up to a prospect to seek direct market feedback and sharpen your strategy.
  • Hands-on: You are strategic, but you are also ready to update the CRM, fix a slide, or set up a roll-up banner when needed.
  • Coordinator: You know how to manage a budget and planning, pilot an intern, and brief freelancers effectively to multiply your output.
  • Speaker ready: Willingness to represent the company at conferences and events, including on stage or at workshops
  • Languages: English proficiency is mandatory. A second language (German, Dutch, French, etc.) is appreciated

Location: Wintercircus, Ghent / Hybrid

About Karomia

Sustainability, radically different.

Sustainability teams are asked to deliver answers, reports, and decisions fast — while working with scattered data, changing requirements, and very little time.

Karomia is built for exactly that. We're a sustainability intelligence technology company based at the Wintercircus in Ghent, Belgium. Our software turns fragmented sustainability data into structured insight and ready-to-use outputs, including GHG emissions, climate risk, and sustainability reports aligned with CSRD, ESRS, GRI, IFRS S1/S2, and SASB.

No long projects. No heavy setup. Just a system that keeps sustainability teams prepared and focused on impact.

Used by more than 300 sustainability teams across Europe.

To learn more, visit our website or follow us on LinkedIn.

The Opportunity

We're shipping new features almost weekly and showing up everywhere — events, LinkedIn, customer-facing ESG websites. We need a Content & Social Intern who can keep our voice on LinkedIn sharp, original, and impossible to scroll past.

This is not a scheduling job. We're looking for someone who has opinions about what good content looks like and isn't afraid to push them.

Your Responsibilities

  • Come up with content ideas that make sustainability intelligence land on LinkedIn: sharp, original, scroll-stopping.
  • Turn complex topics (CSRD, double materiality, GHG emissions) into content people actually want to read or watch.
  • Support the team with visuals, short-form video, and other assets for LinkedIn posts, campaigns, and events.
  • Help build and maintain a consistent content rhythm across the company page and individual team profiles.
  • Spot what works on our feed and elsewhere, and bring those insights back to the team.

Who You Are

  • A student: any field, as long as you're curious.
  • A doer: you show effort and results through actions, not just talk.
  • Creative and plugged in: you follow social media, news, and pop culture and know how to use what you see. You understand what makes content land on LinkedIn specifically.
  • Visually capable: you can put together simple visuals (Canva or similar), do basic video editing, or create short-form video content. Motion graphics or animation is a plus.
  • A clear communicator: you can turn complex concepts (sustainability, GHG emissions, reporting…) into content people actually understand.
  • Marketing-aware: you know what it means to stay on-brand.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working — no need to come in every day. Show up when collaboration calls for it.
  • Wintercircus, Ghent — work from Belgium's most iconic tech hub when you do come in.
  • A real learning environment — a playfield with smart people who will push you to grow.
  • Team drinks (and ice cream) — when the weather is nice, we make it count.

Practical Info

  • Availability: Internship.
  • Location: Hybrid — Wintercircus, Ghent + remote.
  • Start date: ASAP.

Equal Opportunities

We thrive on diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. If you've got the spark, we want to hear from you.

How to Apply

Send us 3 LinkedIn posts you'd publish on Karomia's page. No template, no brief → just show us how you think and write.

We're hiring a Applied AI Engineer to own the foundation under our agentic features: the architecture, the harnesses, the evals, the tool surface, the model choices and the guardrails that let AI workflows run reliably for large enterprise customers.

About Companion.energy

Companion.energy connects the financial side of energy management (contracts, markets, risk) with the operational side (assets, processes, sites). We model complex energy contracts and flexible assets, forecast demand and production, and translate predictions into automated, second-by-second control decisions that move megawatts and money. Our software is used by large B2B enterprises and energy players to lower OPEX, maximize revenue, increase renewable usage, and manage risk.

Why Companion.energy?

  • Where this is going. Energy management today runs on spreadsheets, manual checks and consultants who bill by the hour. Reading a contract, checking a year of invoices line by line, comparing one site against another, writing the monthly report. Almost none of that work needs a person, and all of it has to be right. We believe agents do that work, inside the platform, on the customer's own data, and that this is what rebuilds the category rather than making it look nicer.
  • Insight on demand instead of by project. When the platform can benchmark a portfolio of sites or explain a cost deviation itself, analysis stops being an annual consulting engagement and becomes something a customer asks for on a Tuesday afternoon. That changes what our customers are able to do, not just how quickly they click.
  • It ends in the physical world. The same platform steers batteries, shifts industrial loads and bids into balancing markets. Insight here does not end in a report that gets filed. It ends in megawatts moving at a different moment, which is what makes an energy asset pay for itself and what makes a renewable grid workable.
  • The repetitive work is a bottleneck we feel ourselves. A lot of the configuration and analysis behind our features is still done by hand on our side, and that is precisely what stops us rolling them out to more customers. Automating it is not an internal efficiency project. It is how the company scales.
  • Real stakes. Large enterprises act on what our system tells them. A reconciliation that gets a number wrong becomes a claim against a supplier, not a bad chat reply. That constraint is what makes this interesting engineering rather than a demo problem.
  • Room to decide. The agentic part of the product is early, already live with customers, and the place on our roadmap with the most room in it. You will be setting the direction rather than inheriting someone else's framework.

What you'll work on

  • The agentic architecture. How an agent is defined, how tools are exposed to it, how context gets assembled, how a run is traced, and how state and long-running work are handled. Today each of our AI workflows answers those questions its own way. You decide how we answer them once, so that building the next agentic feature is routine rather than a new invention.
  • Evaluation. Deciding what "good" means for a feature whose output differs on every run, then building the harnesses and datasets that hold it to that standard and catch a regression before a customer does. This is the part most teams skip and the part that separates a demo from a product.
  • The tool surface. We serve the platform to agents over MCP today, through an internal management server and a customer-facing analytics server. Designing tools to be used by models rather than people is real design work, and so is deciding which steps of a workflow should stay deterministic code instead.
  • Multi-model. Which model runs which step, how we stay able to swap them as they change, and how that decision gets made on evaluation evidence rather than on release notes.
  • Cost, latency and reliability as product constraints. A budget per feature, caching, retries and fallbacks, and the monitoring that tells us when a workflow has become slower or more expensive than the value it delivers.
  • Guardrails our customers can accept. Permission-aware, tenant-isolated and auditable, with human-in-the-loop wherever a wrong number turns into a claim against a supplier. Our customers are large enterprises, and their data cannot leak across tenants or into the wrong hands.
  • The workflows on top. You will build features as well as foundations, and the foundation gets judged by how fast the next feature ships. Contract and hedge position ingestion is next in line, following the pattern reconciliation established: take the document, parse it, propose the mapping, let a human confirm.;

What we are looking for

  • You've built agentic systems that survived contact with paying customers: tool design, context engineering, multi-step and long-running flows, structured output, retrieval where it earns its keep, and the judgement to keep a step as deterministic code when that's the better answer. And you've operated them after launch: the evals, the regressions and the surprises that only surface once real users are on it.
  • Evals as a habit rather than an afterthought: you have built eval harnesses for non-deterministic systems, decided what "good" means for a feature before shipping it, and used them to catch regressions.
  • You've put guardrails around business-critical data: permission-aware, tenant-isolated, auditable, with a human in the loop wherever a wrong answer costs money.
  • You've designed tool surfaces for models rather than people: hands-on with MCP and agent SDKs, and clear that exposing a good tool is a design problem, not a wrapper around an endpoint.
  • Strong software engineering in Python: you write code other people maintain, and you have opinions about tests, CI and rollback.

Strong plusses

  • Document understanding at scale: extraction from messy real-world PDFs where every supplier has its own layout.
  • Comfortable enough in TypeScript and React to build the interface your feature needs.
  • Streaming and long-running task UX, so an agent's work stays legible while it is still working.
  • SQL and time series data at volume (PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB or similar).
  • Knowledge of energy systems: electricity markets, contracts and tariffs, grid fees, load profiles, or related domains.
  • Previous working experience in a fast growing start up or scale up.

Our software is used by large B2B enterprises and energy players to lower OPEX, maximize revenue, increase renewable usage, and manage risk.

Why Companion.energy?

  • Real stakes: our models steer real assets against live market prices. When a model degrades, it costs money the same day.
  • Foundations: MLflow, orchestration, and models already earning money in production. What's missing is the layer above it: the one that makes shipping a model routine and keeps hundreds of them honest in real time. That layer is yours to design.
  • Monitoring that is actually hard, and interesting because of it: real-time constraints because markets don't wait, and hundreds of assets each with their own data quirks.
  • A mission that matters: better forecasting and smarter control accelerate the transition to a flexible, renewable grid.

What you'll work on

  • The path from model to production: packaging, deployment, versioning, and rollback of forecasting and control models, so that shipping a model change is routine rather than an event. Model registry, reproducible training runs, and a clear promotion path from experiment to production.
  • Monitoring in real time: our models feed market decisions that cannot wait for tomorrow's report.
  • Monitoring at scale: we run models across potentially hundreds of assets, each with its own behaviour and its own data quality problems.
  • Time series correctness: everything we do is time series. Late and out-of-order data, irregular intervals, gaps and backfills, and point-in-time correctness so that a backtest cannot accidentally see the future.
  • Backtesting infrastructure that runs at scale: replaying years of market and asset data across portfolios of assets and markets.
  • Real-time performance: as we move into intraday trading and add markets and customers, latency and throughput become product features rather than implementation details.

We're looking for someone who builds and operates production systems, and who takes satisfaction in making other people's models fast, reliable, and observable.

What we are looking for

  • Strong software engineering in Python: you write code other people maintain, and you have opinions about tests, CI, and rollback.
  • You have taken machine learning models to production and operated them there: deployment, versioning, monitoring, and being on the hook when they break.
  • Fluent in the standard MLOps toolchain, and clear about when not to reach for it: experiment tracking and model registry (MLflow or equivalent), orchestration (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect), containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and metrics and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • You have built drift, data quality, and model performance monitoring (Evidently, Great Expectations, Soda or similar) and tuned the alerting so that it stays useful at scale.
  • Time series as a first-class problem: late and out-of-order data, irregular intervals, resampling, backfills, and why a naive train/test split leaks the future.
  • SQL, and the discipline to keep scheduled pipelines healthy rather than merely running.

Strong plusses

  • Streaming or near-real-time systems (Kafka or equivalent).
  • Feature stores (Feast or equivalent) and serving models under latency constraints.
  • Time series stores at volume (TimescaleDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).
  • Knowledge of energy systems: electricity markets, load forecasting, asset dispatch, balancing mechanisms, or related domains.
  • Previous working experience in a fast growing start up or scale up.

Our software is used by large B2B enterprises and energy players to lower OPEX, maximize revenue, increase renewable usage, and manage risk.

Why Companion.energy?

  • Work on hard problems: Real-time forecasting, optimization, and closed-loop control in complex, stochastic energy systems. Your models and controllers move megawatts.
  • See your work in production: Models you build get deployed and measured against real financial outcomes daily. Controllers you design steer real assets in real time.
  • Join early, help shape the future: Small team, big impact. You'll shape Companion's data, ML, and control strategy.
  • A mission that matters: Better forecasting and smarter control accelerate the transition to a flexible, renewable grid.

What you'll work on

  • Forecasting models for energy demand, renewable production, and market prices — including the uncertainty estimates that feed downstream control.
  • Control algorithms that translate forecasts and market signals into real-time asset dispatch decisions (battery steering, load shifting, balancing market participation), accounting for the inherent stochasticity of prices, generation, and demand.
  • Optimization pipelines that schedule flexibility across portfolios of assets and markets under uncertainty.
  • Closing the loop: connecting prediction, planning, and execution into systems that operate autonomously in a stochastic environment.

We're hiring a Product Engineer to build the features and interfaces that enterprise energy teams rely on every day.

You'll work across the stack — from user-facing dashboards to APIs and data pipelines — shipping work that directly impacts customer outcomes. Just as importantly, you'll shape what we build, not just how we build it.

About Companion.energy

Companion.energy sits at the intersection of energy markets and industrial operations. We process real-time market signals and asset telemetry to make automated energy decisions every second — modelling complex contracts, forecasting demand and production, and translating predictions into actions that move megawatts and money.

The engineering problems are genuinely hard: time series at scale, real-time optimisation under uncertainty, and interfaces that make deep complexity manageable for the people who operate the grid's largest consumers.

Our software is used by large B2B enterprises and energy players to lower OPEX, maximize revenue, increase renewable usage, and manage risk.

Why Companion.energy?

  • Ship things that matter. The features you build are used by energy managers making million-euro decisions daily. You'll see impact fast.
  • Full-stack ownership. From backend services to frontend dashboards — you own what you build end to end.
  • Shape the product, not just the code. You'll talk to customers, propose features based on what you learn, and make product calls on the details that don't come with a spec.
  • Join early, shape the future. You'll influence the architecture, tooling, and culture of a growing engineering team.
  • A mission that matters. Good engineering in energy software accelerates the transition to a flexible, renewable grid.

What you'll work on

  • Build and improve dashboards that visualise real-time energy consumption, costs, and flexibility across industrial sites.
  • Develop features that help energy managers understand and manage their energy costs.
  • Ship end-to-end: identify a customer need, prototype a solution, get it into production, and iterate based on feedback.

What we're looking for

  • Track record of shipping features end-to-end with a focus on reliability and user experience.
  • Strong frontend skills: you're at home building polished, interactive interfaces with React or equivalent. This is where most of your work lives.
  • Comfortable in the backend: you can navigate and contribute to backend services in Python — writing APIs, working with data pipelines, or debugging across the stack when needed.
  • Product-minded: you don't wait for a spec to fill in the blanks. You talk to users, understand their workflows, and make good product decisions on the details.
  • A strong sense of well-designed software: you care about visual quality, clear information hierarchy, and interfaces that feel polished and intentional — not just functional.
  • Curious: you're excited about using AI-powered development tools like Cursor and Claude to move faster and write better code. You continuously explore new tools and workflows to improve how you work.
  • Pragmatic: you know when to move fast and when to invest in robustness.
  • Strong communicator who can collaborate directly with customers and the commercial team.
  • Interest in energy systems, time series data, or real-time applications is a plus.

Shape the future of space infrastructure

We started just three years ago, and we're moving fast. EDGX is backed by imec.istart, the imec.istart Future Fund, and the Flanders Future Tech Fund through a €2.3M seed round, plus several ongoing ESA contracts. Our first two satellite demonstration missions launched in March 2026 on a SpaceX Falcon 9, with more sure to come. If you want to help define the future of the space industry, you'll feel right at home at EDGX.

job description

Remote Sensing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Build the end-to-end applications together with our artificial intelligence engineers: from raw downlink-free sensor data through inference to a compact insight, demonstrated on EDGX flight hardware in orbit rather than in cloud environments.

· Design, build and own the onboard (pre)processing pipelines that make true edge inference possible: calibration, radiometric and geometric correction, coregistration, cloud and quality masking, tiling and data reduction, engineered for operational data and constraints rather than clean demonstrators.

· Own the data foundation the AI team trains and tests against: source, curate and version EO datasets and evaluation benchmarks across optical, SAR and hyperspectral data, and design the labelling and quality processes that make every result reproducible.

· Hold every application to objective numbers, accuracy, detection time, resolution, atency, memory and watts, with benchmarks, ablations and failure-mode analysis that partners and customers can trust, so the operating envelope is known before it flies.

· Prepare your work for release and publication: reproducible development, training and evaluation, licensing hygiene, and concise documentation and demo results that feed the next round of proposals, mission concepts and KPIs.

What you're bringing

Must-haves

· Real remote-sensing depth, with some years of hands-on work in optical, SAR and/or hyperspectral imagery: sensor characteristics and artefacts, processing levels from L0 through L1 to L2, and the geometric, radiometric and atmospheric corrections.

· Proven experience building EO preprocessing pipelines with the tools of the trade: rasterio and GDAL, TorchGeo or equivalent, xarray, SNAP or ISCE for SAR, and fluency in the formats the domain runs on, GeoTIFF and COG, Zarr, NetCDF and HDF5, STAC catalogues. You have processed real operational data, not only prepared benchmark tiles.

· The ability to write clearly, concisely and scientifically. We expect publications and open-source releases to come out of this work.

· A genuine interest in space and in the field of Machine Learning / AI.

Nice-to-haves

· Hands-on experience applying machine learning to Earth observation data, and any exposure to edge AI.

· Experience with other sensing modalities, in particular RF and spectrum monitoring, or with event-based and non-imaging sensors.

· Disciplined MLOps practice: experiment tracking (for example ClearML), CI/CD, versioned datasets and benchmarks.

· A track record of publications or open-source releases, and familiarity with the geospatial research frontier.

· Familiarity with ESA programmes, mission phases and how onboard payload software gets qualified for flight.

What's in it for you?

Joining EDGX means becoming part of an exciting journey to revolutionise the space industry. Here’s what you can expect:

Unique Opportunity

Direct Impact: Your work will directly shape the AI models and applications running on spacecraft in orbit, turning raw compute into mission-ready intelligence from day one.

Professional Growth: Benefit from mentorship and the opportunity to grow your role as the company scales.

Shaping the Industry: Work at the forefront of a new generation of space companies. We’re redefining how the industry operates and setting the standard for the rest.

International Reach

International Exposure: Collaborate with international partners, agencies, and clients as EDGX's technology reaches missions around the globe.

Startup Culture: Join a fast-growing spacetech startup with a young, driven team and a dynamic, hands-on culture.

Compensation & Perks

Compensation & Benefits: Receive a competitive salary package with extra-legal benefits, including a company car or mobility budget.

Team Life: Take part in monthly Wacky Fridays with team events, dinners, and team-building activities.

Work-life balance: We value your time outside the office, including one work-from-home day a week.

Travel opportunities: Occasional travel to client sites, mission control centres, and industry events across Europe and beyond.
